​Maggie is a passionate student who cares deeply about expanding the conversation about mental health and communication between teens and their parents. As a teen herself and having encountered various unrelenting challenges in her life, she believes personally and wholeheartedly that conversation with open-mindedness is the key to connection and growth and what truly inspires resilience and passion about leading a meaningful life rooted in perspective. In addition to being dedicated to mental health awareness and purposeful interactions, she has a special interest in cancer research and is committed to being a leader in service, fencing, chess, violin performance, and debate. She is excited to be in the Class of 2024 at Yale University and aspires to ultimately devote her passion for well-being and connection to a career in medicine.
