ABOUT BOOK
All we need to do is read the paper or turn on the TV to be reminded of the troubled times in which kids are growing up. What I Wish You Knew Conversations with Teens is about communicating and connecting with children, teens and young adults. When we think about the effects of school shootings and other acts of violence, it is obvious how vitally important the topic of dialogue is.
This book is not about school shootings, but rather about
1) many of the feelings kids today are experiencing,
2) how to get them to open up about what is on their minds and
3) how to respond to them when they do.
