Dear kids,
I am creating a folder on my computer of all kinds of personal information that you should have, some important names & contact information. Also some personal information. One subject that falls into both categories concerns health. During a completely routine colonoscopy, it was found that I had cells that were malignant. I was 48 years old and thought the whole procedure was unnecessary and almost didn't make that appointment - one that ended up saving my life.
You are all old enough that you probably don't need your mother telling you what to do. But this is too important for me not to. Call a gastroenterologist. I highly recommend my doctor. He is excellent and knows your family health history. Make an appointment & make this test a regular part of taking care of yourself. Don’t put it off. I love you,
